A Lady’s Doctor was founded in 1989 by Dr. Kofi Sefa-Boakye with the goal of providing state-of-the-art, empathic obstetrics and gynecology care in San Diego, CA

Over the years, A Lady’s Doctor has expanded to now three convenient locations.  

From routine gynecological and obstetrics needs to complex women’s health issues, A Lady’s Doctor is committed to providing you personalized, supportive care in a serene, respective private practice atmosphere. It is an honor to serve our patients and their families.

Kofi D. Sefa-Boakye, MD, FACOG

Dr. Sefa-Boakye has been practicing medicine since 1989 and was board certified in Obstetrics/Gynecology in 1994. Dr. Sefa-Boakye received his medical degree from the University of CA at Los Angeles in 1984. He served his internship specializing in OB/GYN at Harbor UCLA Medical Center and served his residency specializing in OB/GYN at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Arizona.
